Savageborn Hydra can regenerate for 1R/G, which it shouldn't be able to do, but doublestrike is ok.

Describe the Bug:
Double strike is first strike
Which card did behave improperly ?
Double strike creatures
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
PTT
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Double strike is double strike
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Double strike creatures

Tested with Savageborn Hydra and Boros Swiftblade

In fact, the second damage is applied after the regeneration phase, that mean a creature that shouldn't have died because of double strike will die at regeneration phase and will not resolve the 2nd damage pass

Example : Savageborn Hydra with 2 counters and double strike as a 2/2 will die from blocking a 4/4 creature while the latest will not while both should die.

I'm pretty sure this is either working correctly, or I'm misreading what you're reporting.
Scenario 1: Boros Swiftblade attacks and is blocked by another Boros Swiftblade.
During the first strike damage step, they each deal one damage to each other.
During the normal damage step, they each deal another one damage to each other, and both die.
Scenario 2: Boros Swiftblade attacks and is blocked by a Drudge Skeletons.
During the first strike damage step, the swiftblade deals one damage to the skeletons, which regenerate and are removed from combat.
Nothing happens during the normal damage step.
Scenario 3: Boros Swiftblade attacks and is blocked by a Drudge Skeletons with a Bad Moon in play.
During the first strike damage step, the swiftblade deals one damage to the skeletons.
During the normal damage step, the swiftblade deals one more damage to the skeletons and the skeletons deal two damage to the swiftblade; the swiftblade is destroyed and the skeletons regenerate.
All three of these are working both in the game and to my understanding of the rules. A 2/2 with double strike should indeed die when it blocks a 4/4; the 4/4 should die only if it has neither first strike nor double strike.

Ok, found out the issue : it was not Double strike but Savageborn Hydra, its ability work like a regeneration and if owner activate it during regen phase, it will put a counter and regen it, hence sometimes it will stays unharmed while it should die and vice versa for its blocker.
Also weird thing happen if you have specific mana pool available, if owner choose 1R, game will ask again for 1G and if the amount is supplied the double strike issue will appear.

Looking at the code for "
{other casting cost} / Creature / ~ enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it" creatures but not actually testing them, I'd expect Ivy Elemental, Nimbus Swimmer, Vastwood Hydra, and Mistcutter Hydra to regenerate for
(without showing the regenerate icon) too - they all call Krakilin 's code. Anybody confirm?

Unfortunately only Savageborn Hydra showed the regen effect, others didn't but Krakilin of course.

Nah, Korath, since the appropriate flag for activated ability is not set for the other cards you mentioned, only for Savageborn Hydra. however, I'll re-use the Ivy Elemental code insted of Krakilin one for being safe.
