[fixed/closed]Shard Convergence
by HarlequinCasts » 02 Dec 2013, 01:17
Describe the Bug:
#1 Shard Convergence is prompting for basic lands in an incorrect order. It should be Plains, Island, Swamp, and then Mountain .
#2 Similar to my earlier Gem of Becoming request here, Shard Convergence could greatly benefit by some helpful text during the card search prompt reminding you which basic land you are currently searching for.
Which card did behave improperly ?
Shard Convergence
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
PtTv1
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Shard Convergence
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
NA

I'm not getting a failure to resolve. I chose island, island, plain, plain and got a plain and an island in my hand.

I don't know what the order is, but I think island is 2nd and plain is 3rd, or at least that is what my tests seemed to show. But reminder text would certainly help.
But the larger question is the resolution issue. In my test I didn't have any swamps or mountains in my deck and it resolved fine, so do you mean you didn't get the correct lands, or that the spell fizzled?

What probably happened was that I selected some combination of lands that had none in common with whatever lands it was prompting me for and therefore I received zero lands despite clicking on 5 different lands.
So it seems like the non-resolution issue is not an issue.
I will update the bug report to instead say that the land order it prompts you for is incorrect, and that it needs helpful text during the prompt.
