[fixed/closed]Paralyze

Postby HarlequinCasts » 18 Dec 2013, 09:15

Describe the Bug:
If a creature has multiple copies of Paralyze on it, the mana cost to untap it stacks. Each Paralyze should trigger one at a time, and paying 4 mana for any one of them should untap the creature. The rest can be ignored.

See the attached screen shot. Shivan Dragon with two copies of Paralyze is asking for 8 mana to untap.

I think the problem here is that all the triggers are happening on the creature's card. If the trigger was simply on the enchantments instead, you could click through them like proper triggers. I'm sure this is an old hard-coded issue, but thought I would record it. (I saw this in a Shandalar game and ran to test it in manalink :D )

Which card did behave improperly ?
Paralyze

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
PtTv1

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Multiple triggers, only one required to untap.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
NA

The problem is actually that this was correct behavior in fourth edition. Already rewritten, since the AI checked for defender.
