Describe the Bug:
Other work done on Wrench Mind HERE but this seems different.

#1 The AI can somehow avoid discarding to Wrench Mind when it is targeted. It simply discards zero cards and the spell resolves. If the player targets themselves the card almost works correctly.

#2 If the player is targeted by Wrench Mind and decides to discard an artifact, they are presented with two options: "Continue" or "Stop". These options appear to have their functionality reversed because selecting "Continue" ends the process, and selecting "Stop" forces you to discard 2 more cards (for a total of 3 now).

The attached save game is all set up in a clean game to demonstrate both #1 and #2

I confirm the bugs.The menu is really weird as it is.
- If you select 2 non artifact cards to discard no menu appears.(the effect works)
- If you select an artifact to discard then a prompt menu asks either to continue or stop?(which as mentioned above are vice versa).

Either you go with no menus at all or you ask at the beginning something like: "discard 2 cards" or "discard artifact" or "cancel" .

Still bugged.

AI seems to get stuck in an infinite loop when it considers casting Wrench Mind. I gave it a test deck of nothing but Swamp Black Lotus and Wrench Mind and it typically locks up turn 1 thinking.

I was trying to test the discard 1 artifact option but I've only got the AI to discard 2 cards or all remaining cards, and I can't get it to cast on me. Just load the save file and watch the AI spin.

This is a minor detail but from the player side, Wrench Mind does not display the cards that have been discarded the same way that all other discard spells do.

For example: Augur of Skulls, Hypnotic Specter, or Liliana of the Veil, all show you a little popup of what is being discarded. Since the opponent can either discard an artifact or two cards to Wrench Mind, it would be nice to see the cards get discarded in the same way as the other spells.

The AI freezes the game when it tries to cast Wrench Mind. It is a little difficult to get the AI to cast it, but it helps if you give it a copy of The Rack and have 3 cards in your hand (see screen shot of the freeze).

The only thing it is missing for the player is that it does not display the cards discarded like every other discard spell.

So no it does not work and the previous posts are still relevant.
