When a creature equipped with Neko-Te deals damage to another creature, the latter isn't tapped and untaps as usual during its conroller's untap steps.

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
When a creature equipped with Neko-Te deals damage to another creature, the latter is tapped and doesn't untap during its conroller's untap steps as long as Neko-Te remains on the battlefield.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
