Which card did behave improperly ?

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Mirrodin's Core can be charged
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Tried to put a charge by sneakily morph it into an artifact with Liquimetal Coating then using Coretapper ability to charge it, it worked (Mirrodin's Core ability to generate any mana available), until its all mana ability was activated...and shit happened to crash
