It is possible to fetch a Plains even if I have more lands than my opponent with Knight of the White Orchid.
Which card did behave improperly ?

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
I can only fetch a Plains if I have less lands that my opponent with Knight of the White Orchid.
