Legendary permanent & optional CIP trigger-Report other here

Postby Nexhro » 26 Jul 2014, 16:43

Describe the Bug:
Iname, Death Aspect's ETB ability will always prompt the card selection/library viewer popup. Hence, the library is always shuffled, even if an invalid card or no card at all is chosen.

Which card did behave improperly ?
Iname, Death Aspect

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
JOU, duel

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
The fetch is optional.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Fixed in a2da8b4
----
- Current / medium term task: adjusting the code for making Misdirection and such usable
- Long term task: inserting all the good stuff I left out from the "Golden Years" mod

Confirmed as of mini3, there is no prompt for looking at lib or not so lib content is directly shown and even if nothing is done (hitting directly the done button), lib is shuffled.

Not what I got, so I dug a little deeper. Apparently, it auto triggers and goes straight to library search if Duh mode is on, but if Duh mode is off it doesn't even ask you.

Re: [TEST done=bugged]Iname, Death Aspect fetch mandatory

I found the culprit: it's a global bug for all the Legendary permanents that have optional triggers on CIP, as the 'check_legend_rule' functions interferes with them.
Iname, Death Aspect is fixed in 166382e
There should be other cards with similar bugs, could you please report them here ?
And moderators, please change the thread title to something like "Legendary permanents and optional CIP triggers."
