A creature tapped with Sand Squid's ability does untap during it's controllers untap step

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
A creature tapped with Sand Squid's ability should not untap during it's controllers untap step for as long as Sand Squid remains tapped

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
No.

A legacy card is applied to the creature Sand Squid taps,for a 1/10 of a second and then gets removed immediately.
