[fixed/closed]Sunscape Familiar vs Creatures with Evoke
by Nexhro » 11 Aug 2014, 03:02
Describe the Bug:
While Nightscape Familiar reduces the cost of a hardcast Mulldrifter from
to
, Sunscape Familiar doesn't. The latter does affect the cost of other blue noncreature spells and creatures (without Evoke), though.
Neither Nightscape Familiar nor Sunscape Familiar reduce the cost of Mulldrifter's (and prbably other cards') Evoke cost.
Which card did behave improperly ?
Sunscape Familiar
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
JOU, duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Sunscape Familiar affects the cost of all blue and green spells cast by its controller.
Cost modifiers apply to alternative costs.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Also tested Sunscape Familiar + hardcast Nevermaker -> same bug.
Likely also affects the other recently added PLS Familiars: Stormscape Familiar, Thornscape Familiar, and Thunderscape Familiar.
Either or both bugs might also occur in conjunction with other cost-modifying cards.

Sunscape Familiar still doesn't reduce Mulldrifter's non-evoke cost.
Working on: housekeeping and archived reports

Well, there were a pair of bugs here, one which was really serious and strangely didn't pop out, and the second is the one BAgate reported, which is a global one linked to the recoding of Familiars from Invasion. Everything is fixed now.
