When Merchant Ship attacks and isn't blocked, its controller doesn't gain any life.
Which card did behave improperly ?

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
When Merchant Ship attacks and isn't blocked, its controller gains 2 life.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
