[fixed/closed]Helvault doesn't exile controller's creature

When the cost for Helvault's first activated ability has been paid and a target has been chosen, that target is not exiled.
The second activated ability and teh triggered ability work as intended.
Which card did behave improperly ?

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
