[fixed/closed]Power Sink: Can't respond with Dark Ritual.

Describe the Bug:
If the AI casts a Power Sink that you can't afford to pay for with your mana available from cards in play, the game will leap straight from the announcement that it's being cast to your spell being countered -- you get no chance to respond with a Dark Ritual that would give you the mana you need. I assume that if I had a Counterspell or something in my hand it would prompt me to cast that (and I could use the chance to cast Dark Ritual instead), but with just a Dark Ritual, the game doesn't recognize that I might want to cast it and therefore doesn't give me the chance.
(Technically, under modern rules I believe you get a chance to cast Dark Ritual even while Power Sink is resolving, since it's a mana ability. But that doesn't really matter; I'm not sure if Manalink can handle that, but it doesn't have to, since even being able to cast it in response would be sufficient for our purposes.)
Which card did behave improperly ?
Power Sink
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
KOT, duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Power Sink should give you a chance to respond with Dark Ritual.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
I assume this bug affects all 'pay X additional mana or target spell gets countered countered' instants, and all instant-speed mana-producing spells.

I confirm the bug.The original card from Microprose could be played in responce to Power Sink - a prompt opened:
