[fixed/closed]Anafenza, the Foremost potential exile crashes
by Nexhro » 21 Nov 2014, 17:37
Describe the Bug:
1) When Anafenza, the Foremost is on the battlefield and a spell or ability would destroy or deal lethal damage to a permanent controlled by Anafenza's controller's opponent, the client crashes before said spell/ability resolves (unless that permanent is owned by Anafenza's controller). This also applies to permanents controlled by Anafenza's controller but owned by that player's opponent.
2) The fact that the client crashes when attempting to destroy a land, enchantment, or artifact controlled by the opponent implies that Anafenza would exile that permanent if the spell were to resolve.
3) This doesn't apply to spells/abilities that also destroy Anafenza in the process, which is due to the fact that Anafenza's exile trigger doesn't trigger in cases like that (the destroyed creatures are put into the opponent's graveyard instead of being exiled).
Which card did behave improperly ?
Anafenza, the Foremost
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
KOT, duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
The client doesn't crash.
Anafenza's exile trigger only affects creatures controleld by its controlelr's opponent.
When multiple creatures including Anafenza die, creatures that would be put into Anafenza's controller's opponent's graveyard are exiled instead.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Game also crashes if opponent tries to cast a spell (assumed as opponent's turn simply crashes).
Working on: housekeeping and archived reports
