When Drainpipe Vermin dies and ability triggers,you pay the cost and then autotargets opponent.
Which card did behave improperly ?

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Drainpipe Vermin if you pay the cost,the ability asks for target player.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
