Leonin Battlemage doesn't trigger it's untap ability when you cast a spell,at least not when he is tapped.

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Leonin Battlemage trigger it's untap ability and you choose whether to use it and untap him or not when you cast a spell,at least when he is tapped.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
