[fixed/closed]2 legacies indicating attack planeswalker

Postby Aswan jaguar » 23 Jan 2016, 09:37

Describe the Bug:
I don't know if it is only a visual issue but AI attacked with Wave-Wing Elemental selected to attack Liliana, Defiant Necromancer (
Liliana, Heretical Healer//Liliana, Defiant Necromancer ) and 2 legacies indicating that attack were placed on it.

Which card did behave improperly ?
?

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
Manalink 2016/01/15: Battle For Zendikar v2,duel

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
1 legacy per creature attacking a planeswalker.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Doesn't happen in a clean game.

Doesn't happen all the time, but I have now seen a creature declare as attacking a planeswalker twice, creating 2 legacy cards.

In fact, this can happen more than twice. In the attached screenshot you can see it happened 4 times. No confirmation, but when it happens it appears to happen a number of times equal to the number of planeswalkers controlled by defending player.

Might actually be a good sign. This mechanism abuses the same bug that prevents Propaganda-like effects from interacting correctly with, well, just about anything.

- Current / medium term task: adjusting the code for making Misdirection and such usable
- Long term task: inserting all the good stuff I left out from the "Golden Years" mod

Re: [still bugged]2 legacies indicating attack planeswalker

Still get asked x times what planeswalker you are attacking and creature gets x legacy cards where x = the number of planeswalkers defending player controls.

Added another safeguard in f76af2b
Consider this fixed until further notice.
