[fixed/closed]Vigor prevents damage while it is on stack

AI cast Vigor and while it was on stack I activated Blighted Gorge to deal 2 damage and kill AI's Woodland Changeling but instead it survived and got 2 counters from the damage prevented by Vigor.
Which card did behave improperly ?
