I found an old report for this bug from Doran but it was marked fixed, and I am having the same issue in the current (2016) build, so I believe it's either a new bug or an old one that found its way back in.

Describe the Bug:

Corrosive Mentor doesn't give wither

Which card did not behave improperly ?

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?

Black creatures you control have wither

It does give itself wither.

...even if it's not black, so long as you control a creature that is.

I was the last person to edit this card, and it worked correctly at that time - I remember it taking several tries to get right. Something nonlocal clearly changed in the meantime; I'll try to remember to track down what.
