Mimic Vat if it is activated at "end of turn" Manalink's discard phase the token gets exiled that turns eot.

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
Mimic Vat
Ruling: If Mimic Vat’s second ability is activated during a turn’s end step, the token will be exiled at the beginning of the following turn’s end step.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
