Describe the Bug:
The level up mechanic on Student of Warfare is being treated as +x/+x instead of replacing the creature's base power and toughness. As a consequence when I combine a level 7 Student of Warfare with the ability of Mirror Entity (x=3) the result is a 6/6 instead of a 3/3.
Which card did behave improperly?
Student of Warfare
Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck)
March 2021 - Allegiances and Alliances, duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
Level up should affect base power and toughness. In the example above, interacting with Mirror Entity at x=3 should yield a 3/3 creature.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
Probably all level up cards are affected.
My apologies for the lack of a save file. I'm not sure why the function doesn't work for me. It simply doesn't generate a file.

Confirmed, although this is how all p/t setting effects work in ML. This might be a good place to use create_a_card_type()
