[not a bug] Dual land fetching

Postby Dunpeal » 11 Sep 2021, 04:29

Describe the Bug: Basic land fetching spells or effects, such as Kodama's Reach or Path to Exile, don't fetch dual lands, such as Savannah.

Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck) July 2021 - Proverbs, Myths & Fairy Tales; Gauntlet

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction? Basic land fetching spells or effects should fetch dual lands

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug? Dual lands

Savannah isn't a basic land, even though it has two basic land types.

Cards printed in sets prior to the Eighth Edition core set didn’t use the word “basic” to indicate a basic land. Cards from those sets with the following names are basic lands and have received errata in the Oracle card reference accordingly: Forest, Island, Mountain, Plains, Swamp, Snow-Covered Forest, Snow-Covered Island, Snow-Covered Mountain, Snow-Covered Plains, and Snow-Covered Swamp.
