[fixed] Attack Tax effects vs counter trigger system

Postby Aswan jaguar » 27 Mar 2022, 10:03

Describe the Bug:
While paying for creatures to attack for cards like Elephant Grass you can exploit the trigger to respond to triggers and activate and tap them for their ability and still have them attacking. So, you can tap for mana your Llanowar Elves you select to attack and still attack with them or activate/tap Imperious Perfect get a token and still attack with Imperious Perfect.

Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck)
Dev based on commit 64c9b61

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
You can't tap for the ability and still assign a tapped creature as an attacker.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?

I don't think this trigger shouldn't really allow a response the way others do. I think the best thing to do for now is to circumvent the issue by adding it to the list of triggers that don't get a response.
