Dress Down don't effect the wording "as" or "comes into play with".

For example u can choose a color with painter or walking ballista gets counters, but with dress down in play it should not work. Not manalink

Manalink doesn't have Dress Down, but FWIW, both Painter's Servant and Walking Ballista keep their etb-replacement and etb-trigger abilities with a Humility on the bf. The Painter's static color-changing ability works, too.

Surprisingly, the Walking Ballista et al. ETB w/o counters under a Humility was changed as of the Ixalan rules update.
