You can't copy a Phantasmal Image in the battlefield since it will go to the graveyard if any spell/ability is targeting it (another Phantasmal Image included)The PI works nicely for other cards, except that it targets the creature it should copy. This means that, for example, if I have a Phantasmal Image in play "copying" a Sun Titan, and I choose to clone it with another Phantasmal Image, the first one dies.

Oh well now I understand all the trouble about the Clone system since it's not a target ability but the original game consider it as onePhantasmal Image's ability doesn't target the chosen creature.
