Another bug is that you can use the same turn the ability to exile permanent get the counters and then in the same turn if you have 14 or more use it's Ultimate ability.You must be allowed only one ability of the Plainswalker per turn.

The first bug is fixed.
The second is more erratic : I know where it could be, but you have to remove at least 7 cards with Karn to trigger it, right Answan Jaguar?

Maybe that's the case in the savegame there were 7 cards.
It's not so important anyway,just don't cheat I guess. :D

The 7 exiled cards in the save game are just a coincidence - You only need to exile 2 cards from hand and you have enough counters on Kairn for his 3rd ability.
Maybe the bug is due to the fact that I saved AFTER the game was restarted - but when you load the game it shows you the previous turn?

Describe the Bug:
I have a Enclave Cryptologist in play which I use to draw an extra card per turn, but Archmage Ascension still doesn't get any counters on it...

Which card did behave improperly ?

Archmage Ascension does work but seems only when a special effect allow to draw more cards than one in the draw phase (Howling Mine eg.). Anything like Ancestral Recall at any other step phase will not trigger it.

Proliferate doesn't put an additional +1/+1 counter on creatures affected by Ashnod's Transmogrant

Note : even drawing another card during the draw phase with Enclave Cryptologist doesn't add a counter on Archmage Ascension...

When Lotus Bloom comes into play, Earthcraft can't be activated that turn.

Hum it's weird, after reloading once your savegame I get a "missing CD-ROM" windows message and now Archmage Ascension with all drawing card work...and then exiting the game and reloading the savegame make it not work again...and then again creating a new game with both cards make them work again.

Ok, try to make a mirror deck duel with
10 Archmage Ascension
10 Enclave Cryptologist
20 Island

and check if the trigger of Archmage Ascension work.
If it work, end the game then reload your savegame without closing the Magic window and check if trigger happen.
