Fixed the counter part, however the crash is really strange. However, from now on if you target a non-artifact creature, nothing will happen.

So to avoid crashes we have to target a non-creature artifact when there are not artifact creatures in play?

Reproducing exactly this ability it's hard, so from now on you cannot fetch any Myr Retriever from the graveyard, even if there's one before the other die, which would be legal rules-wise.

When Oran-Rief, the Vastwood is tapped to give a +1/+1 counters to all green creatures that have entered the battlefield in a turn, it randomly gives or not gives the +1/+1 counter to them. (usually it doesn't anymore).
Sometimes, it tends to give the +1/+1 counter to the very first green creature played and, when tapped to give counters to new creatures, it increases the number of +1/+1 counters given to other green creatures even if they have entered the battlefield in any previous turn.

Tried with hardcast or with miracle, still the same AI or the player is not forced to block in V2.

In the screenshot below, the AI summoned 2 creatures before my turn, and when it was mine I hardcasted it and attacked for 6 damages but the AI didn't block.

The sad thing is that there was a time when it was working flawlessly, right after fixing the bug concerning the limit of 10 creatures per time.
