Re: Surgical Extraction

Well, tested and it work for me (and AI is very good at it once his intelligence trigger), however I found another bug : you cannot cast Surgical Extraction on yourself even if you have non land cards in your gy.

Re: [confirmed]Surgical Extraction
by Aswan jaguar » 30 Aug 2012, 13:22
This is one of the reasons we ask people to report bugs using the appropriate form and always attach a zipped savegame or a screenshot (if it can make the bug obvious) as there are so many interactions in MTG that could cause a card to misbehave at times and not at others, not counting possible mistakes or misunderstanding of rules, etc.
Please take look at this:

Thanks for reporting bugs which result in having a better game.

Well, there's another bug, too. It doesn't let me see the opponent's hand or library, which it's supposed to. I should be able to see whether all the White Knights are exiled or not. It's called "Surgical Extraction" for a reason. What surgeon blindly assumes that his surgery was a success?

Ok, now you're able to target your graveyard too and I added the "revealing" part.

Thanks. By the way, Extirpate does the same thing as Surgical Extraction, so it might be prudent to make the same changes there.

Ditto Cranial Extraction. No revealing hand, no revealing library. Makes it difficult to line up your next Extraction.

Re: fixed Gargaroz]Surgical Extraction,Extirpate,Cranial Ext
by AlexFolland » 31 Aug 2012, 08:01
Cranial Extraction doesn't work the same way, by the way. Cranial Extraction says "name a nonland card" and the card doesn't have to be in the graveyard yet. You simply name it, then search. If it's not there, tough luck. Also, it can't affect lands, while both Extirpate and Surgical Extraction can. I hope Cranial Extraction doesn't use the same code as Extirpate and Surgical Extraction. ;o

[fixed by Gargaroz]Demonic Rising
by grinnin » 31 Aug 2012, 11:40
Describe the Bug:
Demonic Rising creates a Demon near the beginning of your turn instead of at the beginning of your endstep
Which card did behave improperly ?
Demonic Rising
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
CirithUngol's with 7-15, in Duels and Gauntlets
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
It should create the demon at the beginning of one's end (discard) step.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Nope
