Well, the problem is that not all creature types are available in "textual" form in the game. I'll work on this and let you know.

Describe the Bug:
If human casts Monomania on AI,then AI will discard cards and then exile one and then if there is one more card it will be left to hand(human seems fine)
- if AI has 4 cards in hand then 2 will go to graveyard 1 to exile zone and 1 will be left in AI hand.if AI has 5 graveyard 3 -1 exile 1 hand and etc.
- if AI has 3 cards in hand then 2 will go to graveyard 1 to exile zone none will be chosen to stay in hand.
- if AI has 2 cards in hand then 1 will go to graveyard 1 to exile zone none will be chosen to stay in hand.
-if AI has 1 card in hand then it will go to exile zone(if game doesn't crash).

well, in a clean game an error pop up right away when player cast it so not surprised bugs occur afterward.

Even though game ask for target player, you can still target creature and effect will resolve as intended, maybe others tap cards are affected since this is the 3rd one reported

I know this is an approximation, but maybe add a check for summoning sickness since that also mean that Resplendent Mentor can target himself immediately upon summoning

Well, there's something wrong about the code for "summoning sickness" in the hardcoded targeting function, for now I added a check, in the meantime I'll look more deeper in this.

Describe the Bug:

Grand Abolisher is supposed to prevent my opponent from (among other things) using creature abilities during my turn; yet in the attached save, the AI is able to sacrifice their Cursecatcher to counter my Wrath of God.

Which update are you using?(date,name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)

March 2013 : Crashing the gates of Lorwyn (V2), from this thread.

Gauntlet / Challenge mode, Pit Fighting challenge.

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?

It should not be possible to activate Cursecatcher during your opponent's turn when they have Grand Abolisher out.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Any card that prevents the activation of creature abilities (and there are several.) City of Silence, Pithing Needle, Cursed Totem, Dampening Matrix, Arachnus Web, Arrest, Linvala, Keeper of Silence...

Of course, if the bug is in how Cursecatcher is coded, it could affect any creature with an activated ability.
