When you cast Sculpting Steel to copy an artifact with Mirrorworks in play, the Mirrorworks is triggered when the Sculpting Steel is cast and again after what is to be copied is chosen (so you can copy the spell twice instead of once).

Posted: 27 May 2013, 00:55No (although I noticed that too), if mirrorworks is already in play and you cast sculpting steel you are asked for the target, then asked if you want to trigger mirrorworks, and if you spend 2 to trigger it you are then asked again if you want to trigger it, and if you spend another 2 you end up with 3 copies of the original target instead of 2.

Both go yellow and appear to be able to be triggered, but as soon as I trigger one and pay the 2 the stack end and I can't trigger the 2nd one, even if I have the mana available.
