Re: The Mimeoplasm

Postby stassy » 20 Jul 2011, 07:57

Confirmed that the AI mess up the effect, even if you choose different "case" the AI will apply the same "effect" (if you choose to get counter from your graveyard it will still ask you to choose from AI graveyard)

Re: Dust to Dust : AI advantage

Postby stassy » 20 Jul 2011, 09:24

Making him trigger Dust to Dust for only one artefact is really tricky, but the savegame can hopefully show all the case:

AI has Dust to Dust in hand, and 1 Alpha Myr + 1 Black Lotus in player hand:

- If you let ai play his turn he will successfully cast Dust to Dust on both artefact

- If you let ai play his turn but remove the Alpha Myr from play with debug or a spell before his sorcery phase he will not use it against the Black Lotus

- If you let ai play his turn but with only Alpha Myr in play he will not use it (in the savegame you must remove Dust to Dust from his hand, remove Black Lotus from play and give him back Dust to Dust at his next turn)

- If you let ai play his turn and cast Dust to Dust on both artefact but sacrifice Black Lotus for mana while he cast it the spell will still process (it's valid as its card rule If one target is removed or becomes invalid after declaration, the other target is still affected. )

- If you let ai play at his turn but sacrifice Black Lotus for mana before his sorcery turn he will still use Dust to Dust

So that only mean at the beginning of his turn, if one artefact creature and another artefact is in the battlefield, AI consider Dust to Dust playable even if one of them is removed before his sorcery phase.

Re: World Queller and Planeswalkers

Postby stassy » 20 Jul 2011, 10:29

Not sure if it's an issue because it's the same result as the option "Cancel" : nothing happen if you choose a type that is neither on both side of the battlefield but if one type is present on one side and not present on the other side the player that own the card will have to discard it and the other will do nothing.

Re: AI bad behavior -Kjeldoran Outpost

Postby stassy » 20 Jul 2011, 11:23

Confirmed with savegame, also to note that AI will prefer to land Kjeldoran Outpost before a normal plain if both of them are in hand...

The code was a bit clumsy, I reworked it and added a bit of AI code, so now it's fixed.

[fixed byGargaroz]Druidic Satchel

Postby stassy » 21 Jul 2011, 12:20

Describe the Bug:
Druidic Satchel can be used even tapped

Which card did behave improperly ?
Druidic Satchel

Which Version did you use ?(Constructed, Limited)and which update(date, name)
July V1 Constructed

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Druidic Satchel shouldn't be useable when tapped

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

[fixed by Gargaroz]Martyr's Bond

Postby theironmmonkey » 22 Jul 2011, 06:47

With Martyr's Bond in play if you lose a creature the AI seems to think it needs to lose all permanents of the same type instead of just one.

Re: Martyr's Bond

You probably have not the latest patch as your savegame gives me a "corrupted or different version error".That's why we ask for date of the patch, and version of the game Constructed?,Limited?,Golden Years?

Please read how to post bugs here, and comply:

Re: Martyr's Bond

Postby theironmmonkey » 22 Jul 2011, 08:56

Describe the Bug:

When I lose a permanent the computer loses ALL permanents that share a type with it as opposed to just one.

Which card did behave improperly ?

Martyr's Bond

Which Version did you use ?(Constructed, Limited)and which update(date, name)

constructed EDH with patch Manalink update : 17 July 2011 aka Commander + M12

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?

Whenever Martyr's Bond or another nonland permanent you control is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, each opponent sacrifices a permanent that shares a card type with it.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
