Well, Maelstrom Nexus is bugged, and prolly is the "may" of Inexorable Tide that generates the error, I'll fix that.

AI is not forced to destroy his artifact when AI plays Viridian Shaman and no artifacts are on opponent side.

Note: This same bug was apparently reported in April 2012 and was fixed by a recoding of X casting cost, but it has reappeared.

I've seen this with Harmonic Sliver in the challenge gauntlet, too.

Ditto, I've seen the AI treat this as a "may" ability.

Fixed for Viridian Shaman, Uktabi Orangutan (that shares the same code) and Harmonic Sliver.

Bad values in "manalink". Fixed.

No, you should search for "Whenever a creature enters the battlefield [do something] equal to [power or toughness]".
