Thinking it back, whit the new Phantasm creatures it's better to allowing Rancor to be casted on opponent's creatures too. Fixed.

Gargaroz it can be cast now on opponents,too but only if there is a creature on my battlefield.I checked all auras in constructed and only Angelic Destiny had the same problematic behavior with Rancor.

Describe the Bug:
While casting an Everflowing Chalice the game allows me to "kick" it two times, even if I don't have 4 mana. In fact, the second "kick" is free.

Which card did behave improperly ?
Everflowing Chalice.

Which Version did you use ?(Constructed, Limited)and which update(date,name)
Constructed 17 July 2011. v.2.

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
I shouldn't be able to get two counters on an Everflowing Chalice without spending 4 mana.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Maybe other cards with kicker?

I had the idea of using Child of Alara as General of EDH/Commander set, but the game tells me that the deck is not valid.
Since it is a pentacolor card, I should be allowed to use cards from any color in that deck! Right?

I tested the Chalice and the bug does't happen to me.
Since I can't load your save (my version is everytime "in costruction"), could you show me a printscreen of the game field before you cast the Chalice, or briefly describe it ? There were perhaps a Semblance Anvil with an imprinted artifact in game ?

I can load the savegame but it work as it should, you only have 3 mana so it ask you for kick once and you pay 2 before it goes into play...

I confirm this bug it is a bit tricky.
When you cast the 2nd or 3nd... Everflowing Chalice and tap first a land and then the first Everflowing Chalice(1mana) it gives you a counter for free.

If you tap for mana the 2 lands,or firstly Everflowing Chalice and then a land for the kick it works fine.

I found out that there was an imperfection in the code, so the "coloured artifacts" weren't counted when the deck's color was determined. Perhaps this has solved your problem too.

I don't think this is the case Gargaroz,as with the same EDH deck which is playable with Sliver Overlord,Sliver Queen,Sliver Legion,Progenitus the same deck is illegal with Child of Alara so it has to be smt else.

Hi, I've seen this one right now: didn't think it was a true bug.
Anyway, if the bug is in EDH card, is it possible to extend its code? If my deck holds the EDH card, I would like to force the AI to choose another random deck with EDH card. Is it possible?

Ok, I found out tthe problem : Child of Alara lack the subtype "Legend" on Magic.exe. So, now it's fixed.
As for your request, Orion79, I could do that, so expect it after summer break ;)

PS: can't make a mono-artifact commander deck because it tells me that there is no valid General. I've tried with Emrakul and Karn, then I gave up.
