Phyrexian Revoker

New Limited V2

‘Effects Card' text blank when played.

Needs text added to the Effects Text entry.

Effect Text: Activated abilities of named target source can't be activated.

No Sonic, Phyrexian Revoker shows on himself the card that you named. You don't need specific values on the CSV for doing this.

True - but when you hover the mouse over the effects card with the name of the card targeted. The Effect Card shows in the card display without any text related to the effect.

It's minor admittedly, but adding the Effect Text just made it look more - Er... polished.

Core Prowler

NL V2

Core Prowler’s Effects Card is currently blank – would be nice if it showed the Proliferate rule whilst in play.

Effect Title Text: Core Prowler
Effects Text: When Core Prowler dies, proliferate. (Choose any number of permanents and/or players with counters on them, then give each another counter of a kind already there.)

Also small up for Consume Spirit, which is still bugged as the latest NLdecV2 patch, which is missing an X in the mana cost title bar.

Unfortunately, there is no way to get the cards to display 2 separate values of colorless mana in their casting cost.
I believe Gargaroz mentioned that Consume Spirit was basically a copy of Drain Life - which also had the same displayed casting cost in the original game.
Although, the original rules wording makes the fact that the {X} is missing from the casting cost slightly clearer.

"Drain Life deals 1 damage to a target creature or player for each {B} you pay in addition to the casting cost. You then gain 1 life for each 1 damage dealt."

Not really a typo but non-gameplay issue, but destroying an equipement in the instant phase as it's equipping a creature will cause the card effect to stay on the creature (the effect is not applied and will disappear next turn or if creature is affected by something else)

When exiling Civilized Scholar with Fiend Hunter, the "exile effect" doesn't show his card name.

This one cannot be fixed, Stassy, as the text of the cards cannot be altered via coding. And I see no point to add a specific token solely for this purpose.

In the flavor text for Bottle Gnomes, you misspelled "Reinforcements... or refreshments?"

(or maybe not)

Small typo on Jack-in-the-Mox though don't know if it's because of the spacing of the font since in the csv they are not present :

Image

"Ona 1" instead of "On a 1"
"Moxhas" instead of "Moc has"
"thefollowing" instead of "the following"

On the subject of typos:

You're right though - it's the in game card font spacing causing the problem. Possibly caused by a wide screen monitor aspect ratio distorting the size of the cards text box.

I'm using a 19" CRT monitor with a res of 1280x1024 and it not happening on mine.

You could try resizing the width of the game window and see if that corrects it. Alternatively try a smaller font size in the dual.dat file

(\Magic\Program\DuelArt\dual.dat)

sizeBigCardText = 14
