yes! I used it a lot in Islandhome or Merfolk decks and it was just fine. Much better than Phantasmal Terrain , since AI never knew how to use it.

This is really strange, somewhat this bug is creeped in and I don't know how. The code was never touched and anyway is an hack of the original Evil Presence.

O_o Very curious. Just for records, Evil Presence is working fine, anyway. I'm using it for my Zombie sabouters deck, waitinf for you to code Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

It's even weirder because I recall Spreading Seas working until some patch ago (was using it in my standard Illusion deck)...

At last, here is a savegame with the old bug.
I must say that, with this new version, it is almost gone but here I was unable to choose if to put back cards or not, and I've lost 4 life points.

At least until May-Phyrexia update the card worked properly as I tested but in the last pro no2k the Dec 2011:

the card doesn't work and maybe to earlier updates.
I don't know how to see the ASM code to compare the 2.But as I have seen the hack worked like this:the card enchanted with Spreading Seas was made firstly a Swamp(Evil Presence code) and then the hack changed Swamp to Island which now doesn't happen.
I compared the csv values of the 2 and tried some stuff but the problem is not there imho.

Very strange. After loading the game, the bug is gone. I still post here the deck that I was using (and also AI deck)
Anyway, the bug would be hard to catch with a capture screen because it just shows you the 3 cards that you have got and, when you procede, the selection screen is skipped and the game just tells you how life you have lost.
PS. you are entitled to have fun of my deck, since I was trying to make a decent "lizards" deck Of course, I have failed!

Wrong deck for the 1st attached file? There is no Sylvan Library in it.
Also in the Orion79 save I can confirm the issue is there, when I load the savegame Sylvan Library effect doesn't trigger at all, so it might be another card that affect the whole Rule Engine interaction.
I tested so far the Oran-Rief, the Vastwood with Basking Rootwalla because when making a new duel with lizard deck I got the issue with them, but alone with Sylvan Library no issue could be found . Quite a tricky bug to hunt...

Man, Sylvan Library is in position 2 in my lizards deck, the one that I was using.
PS: U know, it is weak as a pece of butter in front of a hot knife, but sometimes it is useful to experiment with cards that else you would never use.

Sylvan Library used to be a killer card, waaaay back, when Mirri's Guile and Sensei's Divining Top were but mere dreams

Imho, it is still much stronger, because it allows to draw cards, which can be used with several combos nowdays. Lorescale Coatl is just a sample But, please: keep this conversation ony for things which are relevant for bug fixing.
