Yes, but now we can focus on its fixing since there is a single version, at last! When i was using custom, it was pointless to add any file.

So it's ok to "officialize" 2k+beta1 with db2 as working version until Garg put up beta2?

In a deck where you know you have Sylvan Library and Rules Engine is on by defaults, use cheats to put the Library in play by first hand. If the bug is active, you won't be able to choose cards from the beginnng: it is active all the time and not by Rules Engine specific activation.

Well, made a clean save of a duel 1st turn with Rule Engine active, I cheat Sylvan Library into play.
Next turn of mine at upkeep phase Sylvan Library highlight itself and you can choose to activate its ability or not.
If you activate it, you draw 2 more cards then Sylvan Library ask you to pay 4 life to keep the 1st card or discard it to library, same for the 2nd card and that is it.
If you don't activate it, nothing happen and you get the next card from the top of your library.
Isn't it the way it is supposed to work? For me Sylvan Library doesn't need Rule Engine to work as it's exactly the same step without a Rule Engine deck the trigger is the enchantment card.

In some occasions, when Rules Engine is on due to other cards in your deck, you are not allowed to choose and the AI will make you put back cards or draw 1 or 2 more cards (with life loss) usually depending from your life points total. In short, the choice screen will not appear.stassy wrote:Isn't it the way it is supposed to work? As soon as I'll encounter the same error, I will put a savegame so you can see.

Orion, please post a screen-capture and your deck too.
As you know, I cannot load saved games as my version is ever "in progress".

I will, as soon as I get the bug again. It looks like that Mok's cleaning has also fixed or at least reduced this bug! Outstanding...
PS: I have still met it once or twice until the latest patch, so I know it is not gone yet. Please, leave this topic as suspended.

[confirmed]Silence
by KrNeki » 19 Jan 2012, 22:24
Describe the Bug:
Opponent can still play spells after silence resolves.
Which card did behave improperly ?
Silence.
Which Version did you use ?(Constructed, Limited)and which update(date, name)
no 2k limit beta
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Opponents should not be able to play spells after silence resolves.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Abeyance maybe?
