[confimred]Soulless Revival, Kodama's Might

Postby triol » 03 May 2013, 15:24

Describe the Bug:

When I cast Soulless Revival, I'm asked if I want to splice Kodama's Might . If I accept and pay the asked mana cost, I have to choose targets correctly, but the spliced spells desn't apply.

Which card did behave improperly ?

Kodoma's Might (or Soulless Revival spliced to Kodama's Might )

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)

GateCrash V2, Duel

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?

When I cast Soulless Revival, then choose to splice Kodama's Might , I select tagets and both effect apply.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Probably all Splice to Arcane spell

PS : When I write "Kodama's Might" on the forum, it doesn't puts up the pop up window with card description...

Re: Kodoma's Might (and other splice to arcane)

Postby stassy » 04 May 2013, 15:00

confirmed, tested with Eye of Nowhere and Soulless Revival still didn't bring back target creature from gy so it's Soulless Revival the bugged card, though it work if not spliced

Re: [confimred]Soulless Revival

I'm not sure that only Soulless Revival is bugged. I also tried to splice Kodoma's Might to Soulless Revival and the spliced effect didn't work...

Seems to be you are right, just tested to splice Kodama's Might into another Kodama's Might and only the not spliced effect got applied, though it seems others spliced cards are not affected (tested on Eye of Nowhere and Evermind)

Re: [confirmed]Keyrunes

Postby Aswan jaguar » 06 May 2013, 10:38

I confirm that the these four Keyrunes get buried-sacrificed at the end of turn but they have only to go back to their original state as non-creatures artifacts.
Dimir Keyrune
Golgari Keyrune
Orzhov Keyrune
Rakdos Keyrune

It's a sneaky bug, I'll check it but it seems something hardcoded...

[fixed]=Wydwen, the Biting Gale,[List required for rest]

Postby 0rion79 » 08 May 2013, 16:59

: Wydwen, teh Biting Gale can't be used as general in EDH mode. The game doesn't recognize it.

Also, there are many creatures and spells with alternative mana symbols among two colors (as Oona, Qeen of the Fae) that are not properly recognized by the deckeditor, which includes them as golden cards matching only one color. This may be connected to the legacy for generals/commanders in EDH.

Bad values in "ct_all" fixed for Wydwen, the Biting Gale. For the rest, provide a list and I'll check them.

[confirmed]Sigil of Sleep + Makeshift Mannequin

Postby Aswan jaguar » 16 May 2013, 04:17

Describe the Bug:
1- Creature resurrected by Makeshift Mannequin if it is targeted by Sigil of Sleep ability it doesn't get destroyed but returned to hand.
2- Sigil of Sleep ability returns to hand even creatures that have been dealt lethal damage (at least for AI,I guess this is a bug)

Which card did behave improperly ?
Sigil of Sleep and maybe Makeshift Mannequin

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
ML3-GATECRASH+V2

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
1- Sigil of Sleep targets so a creature animated by Makeshift Mannequin should be destroyed.
2- Sigil of Sleep doesn't return to hand creature which has been dealt lethal damage.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

NOTE:SAVEGAME CORRUPTED

Re: Sigil of Sleep and maybe Makeshift Mannequin

Postby stassy » 16 May 2013, 05:48

In a clean game Sigil of Sleep correctly bury a creature reanimated by Makeshift Mannequin, so it must be another interaction.

Image

In the attached savegame, it show a correct interaction with Unholy Strength, but you can debug put Sigil of Sleep and it will do the same thing.

Re: Sigil of Sleep + Makeshift Mannequin

Postby stassy » 16 May 2013, 14:35

Hum, with your savegame from mine which is working I can't reproduce it :
Image
After loading the savegame, I debug tap all AI creatures so I don't die and let him cast Makeshift Mannequin on one of his creature.
At my turn, I have 2 animated creatures and AI one.
I debug put 1 Island and some Sigil of Sleep in my hand and cast on them and all get buried correctly...
