Describe the Bug:
Somnophore's ability does not trigger when it does damage to a player while Somnophore is equipped with equipment that also triggers upon doing combat damage to a player. The equipment in this case was Specter's Shroud.
Somnophore's triggered ability works fine when unequipped.
This bug reminds me of the Medomai's issue with triggering while ciphered. I wonder if it's a common issue with multiple combat damage triggers on one creature. LINK

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
Both Somnophore's ability and the equipment ability should trigger upon doing combat damage to a player.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
Probably other combinations that result in multiple combat damage triggered abilities.

I cannot confirm this - tested with several equipments that trigger on dealing damage to player. Which one is it in this save game?
If it's a "Whenever equipped creature deals damage to a player, you may...", you'll need to click on the equipment to opt in to its triggered ability.
BTW, does anyone know the difference between .E1M and E1G files? I can only load the .E1M's

Files with the suffix 'G' were saved during a Gauntlet. Files with the suffix 'M' were saved during a regular game (I suppose the M is for Match?).
To reload a gauntlet savegame I first navigate to the main duel menu, click the gauntlet checkbox and then use button labeled 'load gauntlet'. This launches a browse window with the *.E1G filter, displaying just the saved gauntlet files.
About the bug: I don't think it's a problem with combat-triggered equipments alone, but rather the combination of combat-triggered equipment attached to a creature that also has a combat-triggered ability of its own.

Sure thing! I'm attaching a save made in v3. I used the same culprits as in the original report; Somnophore and Specter's Shroud.
Unequipped, Somnophore's ability triggers upon dealing combat damage to the opponent.
Equipped with Specter's Shroud, the equipment ability triggers correctly but Somnophore's ability is dormant.

Got it. Specter's Shroud should not have been using the function it was. Thank goodness it's not a general bug. Please report any other equipment or enchantments with this issue.

The second part of the Medomai bug I reported was quite similar.

Medomai the Ageless has his own combat triggered ability.
Once ciphered with Call of the Nightwing, which adds another combat-triggered ability, Medomai's own ability stops working.

Yes, same bug for cipher, just a little more complicated. Fixed in d1a55f9a7 ("Fix Cipher", 2020-07-03). I think I can get Medomai working too.
