Maybe in the future, selecting an edition of a card while deckbuilding would be an option for multiple card images, instead of the - now old - random choice from a list of images.melvin wrote:Agree with this, the current method should be revamped.Lodici wrote:My proposal is to remove this code so that it makes things simpler and to give someone a clear run in the future should they want to implement a more comprehensive multiple image system.

This would be quite easy to implement UI-wise. On the Card Explorer/Deck Editor screens you could add a new action button that when clicked would display each image variant which you could click to select as your image of choice for the selected card type. Something like the avatar selection screen but with card images instead of avatars. I would suggest that the images themselves are downloaded on demand - ie, when you first open the variants screen you will see placeholders for each image which (depending on your internet connection) will then fill up with the actual image (we are talking multiple download threads which could also be useful for the main download). You could specify the variant download urls against the images property in the script file.ShawnieBoy wrote:Maybe in the future, selecting an edition of a card while deckbuilding would be an option for multiple card images, instead of the - now old - random choice from a list of images.
