Mad AI simulation flag for simulated games

I tested to set the simulation flag for siimulated games created by the MAD AI player.
So far I didn't notice any problems (but a performance gain) during some test games.
If I remeber right someone told me long ago that there was a reason the simulation flag in game was not set by the AI player.
Does anyone remember/know the reason?

maybe reinstate allowing the ai to choose to sacrifice creatures to tap Desecration Demon as if it runs a sim it will hopefully realise this is a good plan if the Demon is about to kill him.
