Seems like it would be easy enough to vectorize. Is there an image anywhere of one of the other rarities so we can guess at the gradients? (It doesn't need to be nearly so high-res.)Nyth wrote:Hey folks... I've been dormant for a while but I've come out of hiding with a request, mostly because I really can't find the symbol I am looking for anywhere.
It can be seen on this article from last year when they introduced the Legacy Cube as an alternate to the regular Legacy Cube on MTGO.

Now I didn't have the MTGO client open at the time to be able to get a screenshot of this phenomenon, but WotC have provided us with a lovely high resolution PNG file that's a good basis to craft the other rarities from.
So my question is quite simple, has this been done or am I bringing up this symbol for the first time ever?

Not really happy with the gradients in these.

And here's Nissa vs. Ob Nixilis. Gradients, again, aren't the best - they're a combination of squinting at small images online, and vague remembrance of looking at the packaging - but they're good enough for my use. Especially since you've got to fiddle with rarely-used settings to see Duel Decks symbols in Manalink or Shandalar at all, and I doubt anyone does.

Updating the Magic Album... The only icon missed is Kaladesh Inventions.

That's the only high resolution version of the Cube logo ever posted on the mothership. I've hunted high and low for the MTGO symbol but I can't seem to find anyone that took a screen shot of the cards during that period that would give us an idea of the other rarities. It would have to extrapolated from what we have unfortunately.Korath wrote:Seems like it would be easy enough to vectorize. This guess is totally baseless, then.

Thanks Korath.
I'm sure someone will surface with a screenshot some day, but until then this works extremely well and is worth keeping in the bank of symbols.

The uneven line thicknesses aren't visible at the size I need these rendered at, so good enough for me. YMMV.

Since I couldn't find a decent vectorialization of the shooting star logo being used for the recent Happy Holidays Promos, I gave it a try:
I'm not completely satisfied with the result, but maybe there a better version which I couldn't find, so if somebody can post a better version I'll use that one, otherwise I'll refine this one till it becomes perfect

Since 2006 and up to 2016, that I do remember 4 different shooting star logos have been used (Only one Happy Holidays Gift Card is without it: Snow Mercy)

@korath See attached screenshot for Legendary Cube gradients. Here's how I got it: Access the MTGO Collection Tab Without an Account

The Masterpieces from AER use the same symbol as KLD's Masterpieces.vesuvanduquesne wrote:Is anyone working on the Aether Revolt (Inventions) symbols?

Has anyone attempted to create SVG files for the other rarities for Aether Revolt? I'd do it myself but I have no clue where to start.
