@charlequin how did you determine the order of the decks? I would have thought they'd be numbered in the order they appear on the World Championship Decks ad card.

@kudit - uh, I have no idea? I thought the folders came to me with that numbering, but I don't have the source files anymore so I could just be confused?
@RoyalRed - EMN images will be released on 8/20.

The original scans weren't in any particular order. Do you think we could update the deck "names" on Mega so that they are consistent?charlequin wrote:@kudit - uh, I have no idea? I updated the two years that are up to follow the ordering on the cards. For the remaining decks I'll renumber them to that before they go up.

Presenting.... the 72nd expert MTG expansion, the conclusion of the Shadows Over Innistrad block.... Eldritch Moon!

This set includes a variety of cool mechanics, the return of popular characters, and the threat facing Innistrad, Emrakul herself:

It also features a variety of horrific Eldrazi monstrosities, including a number of dual-sided Eldrazi transformations:

It also, for the very first time, includes meld cards where two normal cards flip over to form one giant double-sized card! Because these present an unusual case, I've erred on the side of caution and provided images of each such card in three different configurations. First, there's the default, with the two individual card backs each released in its normal size and orientation:

There's a format that will be popular for applications that size every card the same, with the full-size image of both combined cards oriented vertically and scaled to the typical card size:

And finally, there's a giant size, with both cards combined and vertically oriented, but scaled to match (so, double the size of normal images):

You can find all of the images, including all three variants of the meld cards, in the More Releases folder. Thanks as always to skibulk for scans and Decked Studios for initial processing!

Hi,
I've read every post I could find here, but I'm still kind at a loss:
- I've seen that there is a torrent on the Magic Album. However, it seems it only contains XLHQ releases (no crops).
- I've also noticed that there is a few Mega folders, that do contain crops. However, it seems that some of their content overlap, a lot of sets aren't there, naming conventions are different, and I haven't yet figured how to automatically download and updates images from these folders.
Do you have another place where I can find a consolidated and normalized list of MTG illustrations? I have no issue with seeding a torrent if that can help you. You're doing an truly amazing work.

The Magic Album torrent contains only 200DPI releases (*.full.jpg). This post has the magnet link for the most recent XLHQ torrents (normal sets and promos). However these torrents contain no crops either. The first post of this thread has links for the older torrents, some of them do contain crops.bottleofwater wrote:- I've seen that there is a torrent on the Magic Album. charlequin or skibulk can shed some light on the organization of the Mega folders (historical reasons?), but if you want to download efficiently from Mega I highly using their browser extension.bottleofwater wrote:- I've also noticed that there is a few Mega folders, that do contain crops. Crops are a subject of some previous discussion. Whenever I process a new set, I continue to release it in all the formats we've previously supported -- 300 DPI XLHQs, 200 DPI fulls, and 300/200/100 DPI xtra/regular/tiny crops. Any full set we've released since KTK should have all five of those included in its MEGA folder, and theoretically crops exist for past sets as well. (As to why the folders are named as they are -- it's really just convenience and/or not being perfectly consistent across different releases.)
In terms of a centralized repository, however, that's something different. Tasked with trying to get up-to-date and comprehensive torrents in place, I tried to make the job somewhat manageable by sticking to one format, and chose 300 XLHQs since they're the most info-rich format -- the other four can all be created out of the 300s. Sadly the site that previously provided all this nicely in one place -- mtgimage.com -- was taken down some time ago so someone would have to recompile it.
Basically, if someone else wants to pull together a torrent of all the existing 300 crops I'll help seed it and keep it updated in the future, and if someone wants to make them fresh from the existing XLHQs I can offer some guidance on how to do that, but I won't get to actually compiling them myself.

I see, thanks. I've written a script to generate the crop images, and it seems to work fine (remove 12% of the card on the left/right/top edges, then keep the top 43% and you're done - I've tested it to work with both pre-8th and post-8th edition cards).

Should be a folder called "EMN - Eldritch Moon" in the root directory of More Releases, and the scans underneath that in the individual size folders.
