Thanks for this. I had a look at the World Championship decks, but it seems to me that a good bunch of them are incomplete. As far as I can tell, here is what is missing:

WC02-01

• Island 3
• Swamp 2

• Roar of the Wurm (SB)

• Forest 7
• City of Brass

I am not too sure about the lands, but I am including them anyway because I cannot think of any reason for skipping some numbers.

Other errors:

• WC04-02: Decklist is misspelled as Dceklist;

Also, (and I realize I am probably the only person OCD enough to care about this), would it be possible to include the number of copies for each basic land? Just renaming Island2 as Island2x3 if the deck contains 3 copies for instance would be enough. I can see this being useful to let collectors check that a used deck was not reassembled from multiple partial copies of the same deck for instance. This information does not seem to be available anywhere for some reason.

I searched the forums and didn't see an answer for this.

What was the reasoning for slightly cropping the 200dpi scans to remove the rounded corners, but keeping them in for the 300dpi? I used to just download the 200 for cockatrice because I played it on my TV, but now that I have started playing on my desktop I looked at downloading the 300 and noticed the difference.

Thanks for catching this. We had a few cards that got scanned and sliced but didn't make the trip over to be processed. We'll get those fixed up and slotted in shortly.

What we call the "HQ" or 200 DPI format, with card images of 480x680, was originally put together by this forum's predecessor at MWSData over a decade ago to replace the the poor-quality pictures in use at the time. I don't know the details of how the format was picked out, but it was designed around what would work effectively there (and, I would guess, to maximize the available resolution.) HQ images (slightly reduced or used raw) are popular and a convenient size for web uses these days, so we maintain the same format so there's consistency across different sets for people using them. For the XLHQ/300dpi images we just aim to more closely simulate the full card image, so they extend out to the corners.

If that helps, I have that information for the 2003 and 2004 decks (except the one from Gabriel Nassif.)

Please let us know when the missing files are uploaded, and I will do another pass. I also seem to remember that one of the cards that should have been tagged as sideboard was not, or the other way around. I am not 100% sure though. The naming for sideboard cards is somewhat inconsistent (the suffix varies between "_S", "-S" and " - S"), and I did not pay much attention to it as a result.

That was fast! I have had another look and it looks good. Everything seems to be in order except for the two missing cards and some very minor stuff that I forgot to report in my original post:

• Deck WC03-01 does not have any Island 2. This time around, I *think* it is just a numbering issue, and Island 3 and 4 should just be renamed as Island 2 and 3;
• A lot of filenames in the WC03-02, WC03-03, and WC03-04 decks start with a whitespace.

They are not big issues as far as I am concerned. I am just letting you know in case that is something you want to look into.

Yes, this can only applies for 2003 and 2004 World Championships Decks.

Thanks. Apparently the cards that were missing from the other decks have been added as well.

I had a look, and the new decks are all good. The only tiny mistake I found is the blank card in WCD04-01, which is named "Blank.xlhq.xlhq.jpg" instead of just "Blank.xlhq.jpg". Not sure it is worth fixing. I have also seen some cards with a "full" tag instead of "xlhq" in other directories, but I cannot remember where. I can double-check if that is something you want to address.
