Since I'm not using Skydrive anymore, I have made the folders I used as a backup copy of the MWSHQ zips public:

The newest sets will be missing, and I have no idea about the download speed or if it will get blocked, but here you go anyway.

(Some zips had to be split in .001, .002 because there is a 50mb limit, just use your favorite unarchiver.)

In the quest for perfection, and as a warm-up to ROE, here's a surprise upgrade to 10E. The differences are kind of subtle but you can see them. This set was made from better scans using the latest processing methodology. The file size is a bit smaller too.

I love this set, it kicks ass and takes no names. Because I noticed so many different features with this set, I'm going to show you a lot more examples than I usually do.

The overall nature of the art is dark and serious, not just the black cards.


Many of the cards really play with light and shadow.


More light and shadow, and notice that the colorless cards have transparent frames,
no doubt inspired by Windows' Aero Glass.


The Umbra cards all have aura or "spirit" images.


There are geometric constructions in all the lands, with each land type having a
different signature formation.




(Secret: Look at all the Plains cards in sequence, it's an animation)


Many of the other cards also include these formations.


The tokens are awesome.


And don't forget the new leveling mechanic:


This card looks like a lot of fun to play:


The world's wickedest pot plant:


All these features make this set the most thematically consistent I can remember and one of the coolest in a while.
