And just so that everyone is clear, that "promo" is exactly the same as any foil Elvish Champion pulled out of a regular 8th Edition booster. This isn't called a promo by almost everyone that categorizes promo cards because it is the same card inserted into the starter intro pack thingie. A few people do call it that, but unless it is in the shrinkwrap, there's no way of telling that it is that insert.

(Do remember that 7th, 8th and 9th Edition all had foils as blackborders with the non-foils as white.)

@Nyth

I just wanted to say thanks for the great promo scans you have done so far! The Sword of Fire and Ice is my favorite. Do you plan to scan the remaining 10th Alt Text Foils too? Does anybody know if the alternate text was applied across all languages printed?

See Wizards for info on these:

I had a few of the promos you needed scans of, so I thought I'd give my scanner a shot. No bands! Here's what I had:

Moonsilver Spear (Prerelease)
Nearheath Stalker (Gateway?)
Mondronen Shaman / Tovolar's Magehunter (Release)
Archdemon of Greed / Ravenous Demon (Prerelease)
Broodmate Dragon (Wal-Mart)

Let me know how these look / if there's anything I need to do to improve them.

Interesting. It looks like the download link they have for that set is of images that were done for a couple of users using a different saturation / color leveling than the CCW team. They were made in attempt to produce a more clear and rich image. They turned out a bit darker and not as soft if I recall.
You can see the difference between the releases:

Infact it looks like the first release attempt I had done while learning how to process the images (i've learned a good amount since then). Not exactly sure how they make it onto the official release page but im flattered?

A release by the CCW team is located here:

I believe extreme even said there release wasnt an "official" release if memory serves me right.
