nope, just crazy rare and expensive. They're actually rarer than the Lotus, presumably. Do a search.

I've got a set of the Helvault Oversized foils, and yes they are rarer than Black Lotuses...

If you're interested, here's the story behind how they were distributed...
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/arcana/963

Basically, with 30 foil Helvaults worldwide each with 54 oversized foils inside them, there are only 1620 of these cards worldwide. Divide by 5 for each individual card and you get 324 of each individual card.

I would be prouder of them if each card actually said, This is number 27 out of 324... :-P

As for the scans, they will happen once things settle. I won't make any hasty promises but with the promo collection I've got, it would be crazy if I didn't contribute more.

Oh, and I've got the Italian Promo Relentless Rats on its way to me as well. No one has ever even seen a picture of this card yet.

Huh... Just because it's rarer than Lotus doesn't automatically justify the price. It's useless gameplay-wise. Also, shouldn't they offer some proof that it's real?

Nyth has decided to end that promo missing list. We can only be happy.

The foils in this batch have a slightly gray/red cast as compared to the last batch? We're still glad to have em. Thanks guys!

I've found some extra large images of the FtV:Realms cards here: http://www.tiendaitaca.com/noticias/?p=4735. We could use them as part of that release except that there are only 6. (Click to enlarge)

Edit: are they renders from the HQCG project?

They are good. The scanner is good, no LEDs, he has tried a lot of rotations, that's the best we can do. And anyway i'm sick and tired of the no color shift policy, it never really worked. Nobody found a way of eliminating the reflections without fucking up contrast or noise - and, well, some people are adding their own reflections to them because they don't look foily enough. PresetM is no longer with us anyway, so these are good enough for me.
About the others, they look generated.

I add foil overlays to a lot of images on my site.

Image <-- is pretty neat for that.

Same single image as the base, I just overlay the foil PNG (which has an alpha channel).

hmmm, I think the dark parts should stay dark and non-reflective, just in the real cards. Overlay blending mode in Photoshop should achieve that.

Hi skibulk, which of these would you like me to try again with? Some of the newer foils are problematic and truly difficult at capturing correctly but I can always try some more variations to see if a better result is possible.

Also, Wizards have changed their foiling process a few times in the past year for different promo series and I believe that some of these series are now becoming easier to scan whereas others are becoming harder.

Look forward to your feedback skibulk, and I'll make another attempt.
