Other than what you see in this thread, that's the only chatter and image contribs that have been done to my knowledge.

That's correct. I had a big job crop up last week, so I'll try and get that contributor application setup this week. Then we can track what's needed and accept uploads without having to distribute FTP access or work over MediaFire links. Scanners - get ready.

Can somebody compile a list of tokens, ad fronts, and backs so I can create the job list?
Order the tokens by collector's number, fronts and backs alphabetically. For fronts and backs, we usually use ABU Games. The thing is that for BNG, they don't seem to have ads listed... just tokens with backs. So I need people to report what ads and backs there are in this set.

Contributor's Application Launched
The new contributor's application is now live! View it here: http://www.slightlymagic.net/contrib
Login using your slightlymagic username and password. Note that this application is hosted on slightlymagic.net and is official despite the unusual login prompt. The application will make accepting scans from multiple members easier, as well as provide a means to track which cards are needed.
The card list is automatically and instantly updated based by tagging the scans with the cards that they contain. Tagging is expedited with auto-complete. Members don't have to do both uploading and tagging, any member may contribute to either.
The app isn't pretty, but simple and functional. Please report any bugs.
Born of the Gods
Some images have already been posted to the BNG thread. I welcome anybody to re-upload and tag them using the new app. Our insert front and insert back list is probably missing a few cards so please report any that need to be added.
Decked Studios
Decked Studios has hired a new freelancer to do card processing. He has been trained and is ready to get to work on Born of the gods ASAP. The plan is to complete this set in no time flat (Unlike Theros). So lets get some cards up this weekend so he can get started!

The first couple files I tried (a PNG and a TIFF) showed up as blank on the tagging page. I switched to JPG and went through all the commons and uncommons I have, as well as the tokens and ads (found a few new backs on the tokens).
Edit: Got everything I have uploaded! Cards names that include a comma are giving the tag parser some issues. Love the app though! It makes it super easy to upload and the list of what is needed is really nice to have.

You are doing a great work, I was following it for some time and it's really good!
You've almost completed BNG cards, there is some thread where I could get them?
Again, thank you very much for your great work

Hello Angel-de-serra. Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the appreciation!
To answer your question: for MANY technical and other reasons, we do not, and have never, released sets incrementally, but only after they are complete.

When do you think it would be completed?

So I've been tinkering with the processed used when creating the higher quality images in hopes to actually improve the speed of the process (without loosing quality). Attached are a couple of images of the initial results that I was curious about people's opinions.
Some important information:
What do you guys think of these results? To give you an idea of the amount of time / effort involved and the differences, I was able to process all the images that have been uploaded for the BNG set in a matter of a couple hours to produce the attached image results. If the original steps were performed to produce the images that have been produced in the past an entire set the size of BNG can take upwards to a week if not longer.
Now I am not saying that the process should be changed or that the images I have should be released as any type of official release. Just exploring different avenue's of creation and am interested in hearing feed-back.
I believe I have a method for improving the accuracy of the cropping of the cards original borders (which is a big chunk of time in the original process) that was not used on the attached images that when I have time I will test and report the results back.
Some important information:
- Accurate cropping needs improvement
- Original borders are still kept
- Cloning / cleaning has not been performed (no way to improve this step IMO)
