Scans Needed! (Archive)

While I am able to scan major sets, often times I discover that one card is missing or damaged and I need a rescan of just that card. Usually I contact Tenminutegod or Teppic to see if they have the one I'm missing. Sometimes they do not, so I'd like to cast a wider net and add some people to my "scan needed mailing list". So I need to know who has access to major set products and is willing to scan one or two cards every set release.

If you have never scanned before, read "How to Scan" in my FAQ, and post a sample first.

We have received set scans two to three months after pre-release events in the past. The CCGHQ team then processes the scans at an average of 14 unpaid labor hours per set. We get the job done, but... Decked Studios has offered their paid labor force to process card scans for the CCGHQ Team as long as we submit scans within three weeks after the pre-release events. To achieve this goal, We need people to contribute what they have, or preferably to scan entire sets. This thread will be for tracking what we are missing.

If you have a scanner and some cards on the list, please contribute. If you have never scanned for the CCGHQ team before, please read Extreme's Scanning Tutorial Instructions, watch my Scanning Tutorial Video. If you have a lot of cards to scan, post a single sheet for approval first.

Hey, here's what I have of Theros. My only copy of Gods Willing has some stray ink and my Mnemonic Wall is weirdly light, so you probably won't be able to use them, but I included them anyway. Other than that, I think the rest were defect-free. Let me know if you need anything rescanned.

Those are M14 tokens and Theros Promos. I think the CCGHQ team can process the promos; there aren't very many.

Yeah, they'll stay there until my mediafire account runs out of room. There's a random m14 Plains in there, sorry about that.

(put them all out under the woogerboy21\theros folder)

Edit: Oh I see your upload now. Missed it before. I added the Satyr token back to the list. The scan we have is scratched. Now we need 14.

Don't bother. Decked Studios can do that. We don't want to save images any more than we have to - doing so degrades quality slightly. They're fine where they are.

Derp at the speed of posts. I save the scans in tiff format them the crops in ping which both are lossless. They shouldn't have any degradation
But if you still want the entire sheet I can reupload it as well.

I might be able to get some of the other cards that are still needed, if I can scan some friend's cards. Let me know if you need these rescanned; ie: exposure changes. I turned everything off possible so there shouldn't be anything modifying the scanned image. Used an Epson Perfection 1650 PHOTO scanner in Win7 x64 using GIMP 2.8.6.
