Criticism is perfectly fine. The 2014 set actually uses the action steps that extreme / skibulk posted. The only thing that wasn't done is any cloning of dust removal. If the steps are truly what was used in the past the images shouldn't be any more blurry than any other previous set release.A.R. wrote:- Duel Decks: Heroes vs. Monsters and Magic 2014. Sorry for a bit of criticism
As you've said before, having the main image editor taking a break and people filling in, sets will be worked on that need to be re-worked and fixed in time.Huggybaby wrote:Better a bit "blurry" than oversharpened with all its attendant artifacts. Anyway, they didn't look blurry to me.
The tokens added to the Anthology box set are indeed Unglued tokens, so they shouldn't have their borders changed. What it means is that they need to be stated as being "silver" border in Magic Album, and included in the Anthologies card listing in the database.Huggybaby wrote:Yeah, I realized I need to include those tokens. So the question remains, why do they have gray borders instead of white? I think this may need correcting.
Yup, these two sets look really blurry on my Nexus 7(2013) in Decked Builder. The other sets look much sharper. Not sure if it's the Android problem.A.R. wrote:In my opinion, 3 sets are worth re-doing:

Odd. Were does the deck builder application get its image from? Not familiar with the application at all.Yup, these two sets look really blurry on my Nexus 7(2013) in Decked Builder. The other sets look much sharper. Not sure if it's the Android problem.
Sorry I didn't make myself clear.woogerboy21 wrote:Odd. Were does the deck builder application get its image from? Edit:
Just downloaded the app on my iPhone. Looks like the decked builder app uses gatherer images if your card database isn't up to date and they don't have any higher quality images available for a set. Plus I am not certain they use the images from here at all since they have the snap a photo functionality.
The DD: HVM images and Commander 2013 are from the gatherer. The 2014 set looks higher quality after the database update I just did.
Found this on the decked builders blog page:

Looks like they didn't even use the scans over the M14 set and I doubt they have for the DD:HVM as well. Probably not the best choice at the moment for comparing the quality of card images.
Neat app though...
