This set is available now in the More Releases folder in 200 and 300 DPI, as well as in art crops. Thanks to skibulk (main set) and Teppic (planeswalker decks) for the scans on this set and Scryfall for the processing.

I hate to give you negative feedback, but the Ixalan 200dpi's are a little blurry.

Really? We switched the image processing pipeline around a little recently (to deal with moire/banding patterns in the 300DPI images) but I didn't think it had changed things that much for these. Comparing the Arcane Sanctum from C16 (processed with the old Photoshop workflow) to the one from C17 (processed with the same ImageMagick workflow as Ixalan) the latter looks a bit softer but not blurry to me:

If there's a consensus the latter are too blurry I can tweak things again potentially.

I have the opposite feedback, the Ixalan 200's are fantastic, and C17 isn't blurry enough!
This is because I would rather have pretty pictures for Forge, rather than 100% accurate scans of Magic: The Gathering.

Compare: Now, I don't want to vilify the benevolent Scryfall sponsors, but the "problems" began after you/we moved from HQ Scans->Wizard Survey Renders->Back to HQ scans. They're just not the same. Or maybe I'm just jaded and wearing rose-tinted Glasses of Urza.
Anyway the important thing is more new ImageMagick pipelines!

how do you do to have the "Ixalan" pictures in your folder? I still don't have it and MagicAlbum told me my folder is updated.

I can see already this is going to come down to a personal preference. However at least I have a solution for myself. I downloaded the 300dpi's and made my own HQ's.

It's true that you can minimize the rosette, but in doing so you blur the edges of text, icons, etc. It also seems to affect the art. Therefore I prefer the sharp images with rosette artifacts. Unless we ever get official renders a la Kaladesh then we're going to have to deal with real printed cards. Which have, at HQ and XLHQ size, visible rosettes.

Example. First a reworked version, and below 200dpi as released. (by the way, how can I make these appear full size in my post?)

This seems to be an artifact of how I'm approaching the 200DPI images specifically in the current setup. As an indicator of what I was trying to address, I've attached two 300 DPI images. The first one here is the original 300DPI release I made of C17, in which you can see a very noticeable square distortion pattern in the reddish background areas. The second is the changed process which was used for the Ixalan release and refreshes of the previous sets; you can see that it eliminates the pattern while retaining sharpness for the text and fine details:





What I suspect might make the difference for the 200DPI images is that under the new processing system they're resized to 300DPI size then smart sharpened to 200, which is a slight change from the previous process. Before our next major set release (Commander Anthology or Iconic Masters) I'll take a look at whether there's a tweak I can make to the 200s to improve the image quality.

(by the way, how can I make these appear full size in my post?)

I just host them externally (on imgur or something) and then embed them with the img tag.

First of all, thanks for all the work you've done, that's amazing !!
Also, I'm looking for HD scan of "Born of the Gods" and "Journey into Nix", I try the two MEGA link but I only found the extras, not the cards. I also found 2 torrents links on another post but the download stop at 0.1% (for both)...
Is there a way I can found those scans (300dpi) ?
